Celestite: white and black armor

Celestite: the Sky mineral
Find veins in natural rocks on Sky islands generated after this update, mainly between Y 40 and Y 255. Not every island contains ore. Mine with diamond or better and smelt the ore in a furnace or blast furnace to obtain an ingot. Sky sanctuary caches can also provide ingots.
Upgrade armor
Use a smithing table: Celestite upgrade template on the left, matching Amberite armor piece in the middle, Celestite ingot on the right. This produces white armor with gold and cyan details. It preserves the custom name, enchantments, trim and proportional wear; it does not repair the item for free. Attached elytra are preserved.
The first template is found in Sky sanctuary barrels, but not in every cache. Duplicate it with 7 Celestite ingots, one template and one celestial opal block: top row ingot / template / ingot; middle row ingot / opal / ingot; bottom row three ingots. The result is 2 templates.
Switch white and black
Craft one Celestite armor piece with black dye to obtain Dark Celestite. White dye changes it back. The 2×2 inventory crafting grid is enough. Each change uses one dye and returns one piece with the same stats, wear, custom name, enchantments, trim and attached elytra.
You can mix white and black pieces: a complete Celestite set still grants the armor requirement for Prehistory and Sky.
Trims, elytra and repairs
Both variants support normal Minecraft decorative smithing templates, including Silence, Sentry and Spire, plus Fossil and Celestial Crown. Smithing uses decorative template / armor / trim material. Upgrade templates change the material; decorative templates add a pattern.
Craft a usable chestplate with usable elytra to combine them. Repair with Celestite ingots in an anvil or with Mending. Both sets retain Minecraft's normal armor silhouette and identical protection.
Guide screenshots were captured in Minecraft in a test display area. They show actual equipment, not a public-server building.
